Superior, NE –Brodstone Healthcare is pleased to announce that Treg Vyzourek, CEO, was awarded the 2023 Excellence in Service Award by the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) at their annual convention on October 25th. This award is NHA’s highest honor and is presented to a hospital/health system administrator or senior executive who has demonstrated outstanding administrative skills, professional performance, health care organization involvement and significant leadership.

Vyzourek has led Brodstone through a period of significant growth and transformation. Under his leadership, the hospital has expanded its services, improved its quality of care, and successfully navigated the challenges of the pandemic, health record transition and construction projects. Treg is also a passionate advocate for patient safety and rural access to quality healthcare.

“I am overwhelmed with gratitude to be selected for this award,” said Vyzourek in his acceptance speech. Vyzourek went on to thank the NHA, his team at Brodstone, mentors throughout his career and his family for their support and encouragement over the years.

Vyzourek has been the CEO at Brodstone Healthcare since January 2018. Under his leadership Brodstone Healthcare has continued to receive national recognition year after year. Treg was also recently recognized as Becker’s Hospital Review’s 67 Critical Access Hospital CEO’s to know. A line from Vyzourek’s Excellence in Service nomination reads “Over the past five and a half years the facility has seen progressive change and well-deserved success – much of which can be credited to Treg’s leadership.”
