The first baby of 2023 made her appearance at Brodstone Healthcare on February 1st at 3:23am. Parents Caleb and Gayle Mahin of Formoso, KS, welcomed Sloan Loretta, weighing 9 lbs 9 oz and 21 3/4” long. Also welcoming Sloan are her siblings Drake (7), Hazel (5), and Warren (2). 

Baby Sloan and her parents were presented a quilt created by the Loose Thread Sewing Circle.

In 2022, 34 babies were born at Brodstone. A new nursery and OB department are part of the construction project which is slated to be complete this Spring.
